Description

What is Tagaytay Online Linkage?

The Tagaytay Online Linkage (TOL) is a web application developed by the BSIT 4-6 Adult Learners as their capstone project to streamline data access, management, and certification requests between researchers and the City Government of Tagaytay. The project was conceptualized to address the challenges of manual data retrieval, delayed transactions, and limited access to localized data.

Mission

Through digital archiving, the web application aims to enhance transparency, efficiency, and collaboration among users. It also supports the city's vision of promoting research and evidence-based planning.

Vision

It is a digital bridge connecting the local government and its stakeholders toward more efficient information sharing and governance.

Acknowledgement

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the City Government of Tagaytay, former City Mayor Abraham N. Tolentino, and incumbent City Mayor Aizack Brent D. Tolentino, for making the Adult Learner Program possible. Without this initiative, we would not have been given the opportunity to pursue our degree course and develop the Tagaytay Online Linkage (TOL) web application.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the exceptional team of City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) headed by Engr. Emilma U. Pello, for allowing and guiding us to create a digital version of their research-related transactions. We are likewise grateful for the valuable collaboration we had with the Office of the Sangguniang PanLungsod (OSP), and the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO).

This accomplishment would not have been possible without the guidance of the School of Computer Studies (SCS) of the City College of Tagaytay (CCT) by providing us with opportunity to apply our learning in meaningful ways. To all the faculty members who dedicated their time to teaching and mentoring us, to our technical critics and panelists who exert their effort to provide a constructive feedback for further enhancement of our web application, to our advisers who tirelessly guided us during the development process, and to our School Dean Ms. Jeferlyn A. Añonuevo, who shared her expertise and inspired us throughout our journey with this capstone project – our deepest thanks.
